Harvey Sellers sent out what is most likely the final SITREP for Scamp’s 62nd Reunion. We are now four days away from this long-planned and hard-fought event. Harvey reports:

Planned Events
We will be having an arrival WELCOME ABOARD celebration on Monday from 1200 to 1600. FREE pizza wings and salad throughout the afternoon. All are welcome and when you register you will receive a gift, all your tickets. We also suggest that you see the Cribbage Chairman and the ACEY/DUCET Chairman to get your name entered and schedule your games. We will also be having the Silent Auction (if you wish to donate something please contact Rick Lannen at [email protected]). The cribbage tournament ($10 entry) and an ACEY DEUCEY
tournament ($10 entry fee).
Tuesday, we have scheduled a bus and tour of Fort Trumbull and Fort Grisswald. Tuesday night CAPTAINS BUFFET DINNER to Honor SCAMPS 10 Skippers at the hotel.
Wednesday we will tour the Submarine Museum and Groton Subbase. Wednesday night we will have a REMEMBRANCE DINNER for our shipmates on eternal patrol. After dinner we will ask if anyone would like to remember a shipmate who has passed with a viewing of the Entire List.
Thursday is the BIG day. The bus trip to Mystic Seaport will be a lovely day in Mystic. When we return, we will get a group photo and then assemble in the main dining hall to a sit-down dinner, crowning the cribbage and ACEY DUCEY Champs and then conduct our business meeting and wrapping up the SILENT AUCTION and Live Auction with some Special item donated.
Friday morning, we will HONOR OUR PLANKOWNERS and Decommissioning Crew with a Sunrise Breakfast. All Plank Owners and Decommissioning Crew eat for free. Also, we will once again have the Hospitality Room available with all the drinks and snacks that we are accustomed to, with a few surprises.
Final Acknowledgements
Thanks to Dean Casentino for Hosting the room and getting everything ready. Rod Stark has also been arranging a guest speaker and providing all videos and photos for this event.

Reunion Location
Our 62nd Reunion will be held in Groton Connecticut and will be June 12th through the 16th.
The reunion Hotel is the Baymont by Wyndham, 360 CT-12, Groton, CT 06340, and the rates are $104 per
night. We have a block of rooms (25) set aside for us. Reservation may be made by calling 1 (860) 445-8000.
PLEASE NOTE the room rates are good from Sunday June 11th until Sunday June 17.
